The Home Master Savings Plan is a combined mortgage plan made possible through Jamaica Police Co-operative Credit Union Limited (JPCCUL) and Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS), enabling a member to a chance in owning their own home.
The partnership involves Jamaica Police co-operative Credit Union depositing funds with Victoria Mutual Building Society, thus establishing a pool to be loaned to pre-qualified members, on the recommendation of the Credit Union. The maximum recommendation for each member will not exceed $500,000, providing funds are available in the pool.
How To Qualify
- Member must save in a special account, called the Home Master Saving Account, for at least 24 months.
- Members can make lump sum deposit to this account. The lump sum portion, however, must be in the account for at least 6 months prior to the member applying for a loan.
- The member will have access to this fund at the end of the 24-month period, towards the deposit and or construction of a home.
